2020-2022 #Still Connected Projects
Dear Friends of the Mama Project,
We started 2020 with beautiful plans for a summer Mama Project in Cape Town called "Colorful Women Hold Your Head High" with guest artist Ghanaian fashion designer Queen Allotey-Pappoe, and musicians Alutha Taho and Rebeka Rain.
COVID-19 disrupted these plans, but we are #StillConnected! The Mama Project Leadership Council mobilized quickly to adapt and respond, re-directing all of our funds to critical food relief efforts, holiday drives, local outreach for Women's Day, and safe creative and community projects called Mini-Mamas led by the Mama Leadership Council in Cape Town. Please read and enjoy all we were able to do across the globe in our 2020-21-22 news below! And check out and support our NEW IN-PERSON PROJECT FOR 2023: DRAW THE CIRCLE WIDE.
Thank you for your continued support of The Mama Project. We wish you health and joy,
--Sara, Heather, Alutha & Asanda
